Tuesday 2nd May 2017

Fine and sunny. All rivers are fishable. I think there was almost a frost this morning. I'm not sure as my eyes were glued shut ... however when I got up the outside thermometer was saying 1.4 degrees celcius. The ground had a heavy dew. Wow !! The temperatures have dropped. Roll on Winter.

Some great fishing has been had by anglers over the last week or so. Seems to be a few anglers doing quite well on the wetline with some of the nymphers struggling a bit towards the end of last week. Most anglers are still taking out naturals such has Caddis and Hare and Coppers but glo bugs are just starting to tick away.
