Another gorgeous day in town today, not so much wind as there was yesterday so that is nice, but I do believe that we are expecting more winds at some stage.

I went for a run yesterday around the river, checked out a few anglers (watching them fish not checking them out) and saw a lot of anglers in between the two town bridges, esp at the bridge pool. I thought those anglers were pretty game because the sun was shining, there was NO wind and not a cloud in the sky, it was so hot that I actually thought about having a quick dip in the lake. (FYI the lake is FAR too cold for swimming in atm)

Have spoken to a few anglers lately and still getting a wide variety of fish coming out of the river, some are on the small side and others are on the old side and some more are on the really good healthy size, I know that doesn't tell you a lot but it does mean that your in luck to get something!

The Trout Hatchery's have their Public Kids Fishing Day tomorrow. For $10.00 your child can catch a fish in there pond and you get to take it home! I remember doing this when I was younger, was so much fun. A great way to get your child into the fishing spirit! I have had some cute little munchkins come in to the shop getting there gear to go fishing with there dads or Poppas. So hopefully in the next few days we will be able to show off there catches here on the website.

Below is a photo from one of our anglers, he had a good weekend getting some good eating fish. Glo bugs were his pick and he enjoyed most of his time in the town pools.
