Thursday 10th May 2018

Fine and sunny here in Turangi this morning. No wind as of 9:00am.  The Tongariro is clear and fishable. Just as I am writing this the cloud has come in.  We are expecting some rain over the next week.  This should move some fish up all of the rivers.

(Below) This is Brent from Taihape with a nice Tongariro Rainbow jack that he caught down by the S.H.1 road bridge a couple of days ago. A few of these fish have been sneaking through the river with more stacking up off the Delta.

(Above) A bag limit of really nice fish that are ready to run.  These were caught off the Delta by local angler Graham Hamilton.

(Below) These fish were caught a few days ago also by Graham. Bring it on !!
