Overcast and quite warm today. All rivers are fishable. Mostly tourists heading through for a fish at the moment. Just helped some out in the shop this morning and then caught up with them down at the river just after lunch and one of them had managed to catch a nice silver rainbow.

The Tongariro remains low and clear but should be worth a flick.  Still reports of smaller fish taking the fly before the biggies but the biggies will be there .... just have to know how to get them ;-)

I would be swinging a wetline to get the better ones.

We haven't really had that much rain but some more wouldn't go amiss.
