Fine and sunny start to the day in Turangi today.  The cicadas are chirping madly. No wind as of 9:00am.  The Tongariro is highly fishable.

A little bit of delayed coverage from a few days ago thanks to Morgan Jones. Pictures say a thousand words.  Morgan writes:

Hi, we follow your website all the time - fabulous thanks for keeping track of the river and fishing from out of town.

After stocking up on flies this morning at the shop, we caught this lot. All on the pink booby at the delta after the recommendation!! (Thanks)
