Most movement this week has been from the cicadas on the rivers

fewer anglers on the Tongariro have meant the locals have a chance again and they are making the most of some warm day producing a good hatch with cicada during the day and caddis and a host of other little nasties hatching in the evening. Still some visitors and people like Ron Fouracres enjoying the summer angling with the experience of his first Tongariro trout
