Lake Taupo ( Levels )
Still appears a few anglers are heading around to the Delta. Most fishermen are quite impressed with the nice orange quality of the fish flesh. A few rainbows reported caught up to 5lbs. This bodes well for the river angler for the next few months if these are showing up around the mouths now.

Lake Otamangakau (Levels )
Few Reports filtering through for Lake Otamangakau at present. A reminder that the Lake closes for fishing on 31 May 2012 and reopens 1 October 2012.
