Cool starts to the mornings now as Autumn gets a firm grasp on the region. She is still heating up nicely through the day and looking like staying this way till Friday.
There are not a lot of anglers around at the moment. More Aussies than Kiwis by the looks of things.
I swung some woolly buggers last night after dark on the Intermediate Line and picked up 2 nice browns. Both in the Tail Outs of separate pools after having no touches in the riffle, runs and main pool.
The flow has settled back to around 22 cumecs and is a soupy colour and will clear through the day. I’ll head back out after work for another run at it but good things are coming.
