Quite a windy morning with a little drizzle to start the weekend. I had a look down at the road bridge on my way into the shop this morning and the river is looking great with a slower flow rate compared to the last week and with the Tongariro clearing the fishing should be great. I only saw the one angler at the bridge and he was tight to a nice silver Rainbow, not sure where everyone is.

Anglers through the shop are reporting some real silver fish falling for swung woolly buggers and rabbits, nymphers are doing well with globugs early/late and naturals working during the day, caddis being the standout.

Jared was out earlier in the week landing a few rainbows and a solid Brown for variety.
