After a slightly milder 3deg start this morning it has been a nice sunny day in paradise for the most part. It has been good to see families taking advantage of the conditions to enjoy some time walking and fishing the river or making the run up to the mountain.

The reports in today are still sounding encouraging, plenty of limits coming from out of upper bridge pool however if your’re prepared to beat your feet and look at other sections there can be heaps of water you can have to yourself. Globugs and olive woolly buggers continue to be the flavour of the day.

One of our resident trout slayers put in a few hours yesterday and pulled a few to the bank. No one fly stood out so keep changing your nymphs to find what they are prepared to grab.
