There’s a cool wind here this morning, but it’s a blue topper out there. Everyone must be planning a late start today by the look of things on the morning drive around. The breeze hasn’t let up any so there is sure to be some creative casting out there today.

The river has cleared up nicely and dropped considerably since yesterday. There were still some real good fish caught in the discoloured water. Robert Vischer bought a cracking 7.5lb Brownie in for us to weigh in the early afternoon and we heard of a few others. It’s getting time to rat out the old Magnums red woolly hat and the old yellow Parka to get into the fishing guys and gals. Things are shaping up nicely.

Neil and I have the helm today, so drop in and see us to get geared up.

Tight Lines,

Pete

View from the main road bridge this morning and clearing nicely.

I don’t know where everybody is but we wish we were out there.
