There was a bit of rain overnight and there’s a wind that’d blow the milk out of your tea at the moment.

The river came up to 98 at one stage overnight, but is dropping now. This should get another pulse of fish coming through.

I got out for a swing with the Trout Spey gear a couple of times over the weekend and it was pretty good with some nice fish landed both days. This fresh should (hopefully) move a bit of the slime off the rocks and make for easier wading.

We’ve already had people in the shop heading out for a lash. Swinging will probably be the go for the next few hours. Something big and Black of brightly coloured would be my choice.

Jared and I have the helm today.

Tight Lines,

Pete
