Overcast and humid-ish here in Turangi this morning. A bit of a blustery breeze blowing. The Tongariro is highly fishable and flowing at 23.2 cumecs.

(Below) The overcast conditions cleared from this morning to produce some blue sky. The E / SE winds have picked up to blow quite hard and strong. This is looking upstream at 1:00pm from the Admirals Pool carpark. Zero anglers around.
(Below) Check out how the wind is blowing the Willows over. You can also notice the riffle on the water that the wind has created. The river looks to have a touch of colour to it today but is still highly fishable. There is like leaf litter / algae billowing in and around in the currents. Great for the wetline !!
