There was a bit of early cloud about earlier on, but its gone now. There’s a bit of a breeze, but nothing to stop you fishing.

Got out a couple of times over the weekend. Had a ball catching dinks on the Lace Moth/Vine Hopper or what ever you want to call them 🙂 Most of the rises you’ll see will be to them at the moment. It’s great fun. At one stage, I saw a Fish try and grab a hovering Dragon Fly. I think the fly was the bigger of the two. You only see stuff like this if you get out there and do it.

On Sunday I got a bit more serious. Got a nice one on the nymph and a cracker on the Cicada. I think the Cicada eater was the the most spectacular rise I’ve seen this season. Real Field and Stream/ Outdoor life stuff. It was like a Toyota fell into the water.

Andrews back from the Cook Islands, so come in and hear the stories.

Jared, Andrew and I are on deck today.

Tight Lines,

Pete
