The mornings are starting to be a bit cooler, so the Cicadas take a bit longer to get going. I saw a few early anglers on the water on my drive around.

There’s already been anglers in stocking up on Cicadas for the day. If you just want to have some fun, try a Lace moth. You have to do things right with these little guys. Light tippet and a  Dead drift presentation is imperative, so it’s good to hone up your skills fishing for the little guys that are rising in all of the riffles, then out of the blue, a half decent fish will nail your fly.

Andrew’s out there on the water, so Neil and I are holding the fort.

Tight Lines,

Pete
