Fine and sunny start here in Turangi this morning with a big grey black cloud hovering over one side of the town. No wind as of 9:00am. All rivers are clear and fishable.
Some good sized browns are moving through the river at the moment. Plenty more cicadas appear to be chirping now too. Most anglers are reporting some great fishing but are noticing a lack of anglers around …. bonus for those who are wanting to fish the river most of the day for themselves.
Lake Otamangakau appears fish are full of snails.
