The rain has been set in for a couple of day now but still fairly light. The highest the Tongariro has peaked in flow is 29 cumecs and holding a slight bit of colour. So if you haven’t planned to be here for the weekend, get onto that as the fishing has been pretty bloody good with anglers reports in the shop of good numbers and quality fish in the 3 to 4 pound range.

It is winter conditions now with it being chilly in the morning so make sure you are geared up for that. We have plenty of gear for layering in store, bottom layer, fleeces, rain jackets , beanies so call in and see us before you ht the water.
