Fishing Reports

Thursday 31st January 2019

Highly Fishable
Mostly cloudy
6km/h
21.1m3/s

Same as yesterday. High cloud and it’s it’s already burning off. There already a bead forming on my forehead, so it’s going to be a warm one.

Graham kicked me out to go for a fish yesterday arvo. I only stayed on the river for a couple of hours. Pulled a couple up to my Cicada, so a good day. I did see quite a few Browns and there were bunches of small fish rising. By small, I mean couldn’t get their mouth around my Cicada small. The Lace Moths are starting to make an appearance, so that’ll be the next thing to start thinking about.

With the water temps rising, start to probe the shallower ripply water. It’s more oxygenated and the fish move into it to help survive and to survive.

If you’re planning on coming into the shop to get the “Turd Slurper” catching report, sorry, It looks like Andrews flight from OZ was Cancelled. It must be true, I saw it on Facebook.

Jared and I are on deck today.

Tight Lines,

Pete
