Highly Fishable
Mostly cloudy
10km/h
28.3m3/s

The Genesis flow graph hasn’t updated since the 25th (thankyou to the caller who let me know) however the Tongariro is flowing at 28.3cumecs at 11:00am today………Update at 4pm 29.1……..

A few showers overnight has added a tinge of colour to the Tongariro from what I saw early this morning and looked very fishable. Some more showery weather with a cold snap is forecast today so it might pay to keep an eye on the weather sites, we have a good selection of warm and dry gear so come in and check it out. There are fresh silver Rainbows still moving through the rivers and we should see more pulse through with the cold rain and a pressure drop. Wetlining has been consistant with olive woolly buggers doing the the damage as always however changing it up to a red rabbit worked a treat yesterday. Globugs have been the choice of ammo for the nymphers, red copper johns have been doing the damage as well lately.

I saw a couple of anglers in the upper bridge pool this morning and a few in the lower pool but no one above the bridge, there is always somewhere you can find some water to yourself. Jared got out on his days off and had some fun nymphing with the Rio Single Spey line.
