It's been one busy week here at Sporting Life and a common theme has been eggs, buggers & booby flies! It's time to have a few of these at the ready as things have been pointing towards the winter fishery - arguably the most exciting time for readers among you!
Freshly laid (tied) eggs are in store, along with various wooly buggers in olive, black, brown, orange etc. if buggers aren't your thing, and rabbit flies are preferred - we have plenty of these too. Boobies are doing well at the river mouths, accounting for the majority of fish caught recently.
