šŸ§„ā˜” Bring a Raincoat šŸ§„ā˜”

The Central Plateau is receiving another good lot of rain which is steadily bringing the Tongariro flow up (currently at 36.7 cumec) those wetlining or nymphing have reportedly been doing well, with a majority of the fish being in that 5lb+ average. The smaller streams/rivers of the plateau are productive as well, some have risen with the rain although absolutely fishable. With the weekend around the corner and this rain forecast to continue, make sure you've got a good raincoat which we have in store or online, in Patagonia or Simms.Ā

Neil and Lars mixed it up with the egg or wooly bugger and had great results for each. These fresh fish are in good condition and numbers - make sure the tippet you're using is strong enough šŸ˜‰ we've had a few anglers come in to say that their go-to tippet size was breaking on fish so we got them sorted with the more appropriate sizes to their rod and technique.Ā

Connor is busy putting the stock top ups in the system - McLean nets included šŸ˜€
