It's a gloomy day in Turangi with the dark grey skies and rain setting in this morning, the lake is looking rough along the eastern side although I wouldn't write off a session at the river mouths as the Waitahanui and Tauranga-Taupo were looking super fishable in my view. Looking ahead the weather will improve so don't sit on the fence if you've made plans to hit the Plateau this weekend! 

Tarn and Paul happened to have the same train of thought last night as they were both fishing the rip well into the night while the moon was bright. Tarn was providing the famous Pat Swift morsels to hungry rainbows and browns which you will see pictured below and find well stocked in our store!
