Tongariro River Flow: 25m3/sec

Weather: Sunny 🌞 Windy 🌪

🧤🧊🧥🧦🧣🎣 Another freezing cold day in paradise 🧤🧊🧥🧦🧣🎣

The lake has been awfully rough and inaccessible lately, so boaties who are itching to get out there are hoping for some calmer weather which is soon to be! As the weather is set to be wind-free and sunny by Saturday.
As for those on the river most are finding good numbers of fish when moving from spot to spot while nymphing with caddis varieties or any small natural nymph. That's not to say the winter favourite (globug) isn't savoured by our chrome friends, but if you're finding the fishing a bit challenging then try the nymphs we have suggested or alternatively come in and see the team for more info on the topic.
will keep you warm and looking suave while on the river! We still have plenty of these brilliantly cozy vests which are reversible.

Magnum neoprene waders are a great option to keep comfortably warm on the river.

If you have been thinking about getting a new pair for the first time or perhaps putting the old pair to rest, then now is the time to purchase as they are due to go up in price on August the 1st.Â
