It is a stunning day for Turangi seeing a good number of anglers parked up and getting ready for a day of fishing after the rainfall we received over the weekend, which should encourage more fresh-run rainbows into the system.

The team all put their headlamps on for a night session looking for brown trout feeding in the shallow stream mouths and Alex got himself a beautiful gold bar caught on a black streamer.
