Tongariro River Flow: 27.9m3/sec
Weather: Sunny/Cloudy ⛅
We are fortunate to have some sunny weather today, so if you are wanting to get out on the river now would be the time as we are expecting some unpleasant weather tomorrow. There's a good number of travelers coming through to fish the Tongariro at present and doing well using their chosen fly fishing method, often time dry/dropper being the most productive as fish are quite active. Large terrestrial dries are working well at the moment and they make for a good visual fly for the angler to see and appear as a tasty treat for the hungry trout!

Neil swung into a beautiful rainbow jack just before dark, and soon after I was fortunate to have the fresh brown on the end of my line which was kindly netted by Siobhan.
