Great reports coming through with plenty of rainbows about, although requiring some finesse and patience. Dry dropper still being the go-to for those fishing rivers while that's not to say wet-lining or nymphing will not catch a fish! A fly in the water is better than none!
Neil took the pontoon for a drift on Lake Otamangakau and had a great time hooking into some nice fish. We have all been enjoying fly fishing the lakes this summer and enjoying the fly tying that goes with it - feel free to come on in and have a chat with us about fly fishing the lakes as we all love it! From Loch style to sight fishing from vessel or lake edge, we can assist.
