Saturday 3rd December 2022

The sun has continued to shine over Turangi and we are off to a cracking start to our weekend. The Tongariro is sitting at 32.9 m3/sec and is flowing clear. As expected, dry dropper has been very productive in the shallow riffles and runs. Theresa was out yesterday with friends Scotty and Morgan practicing what we preach and coming up trumps with a couple feisty rainbows, a perfect way to enjoy a day in the sun! Well done guys.

It is certainly still early days, but we have already heard the familiar chirp of cicadas in our travels around town here. Hopefully it is a sign of yet another special cicada season on the horizon. Might pay to stash a handful of tasty Peter Carty tied cicadas in your box in preparation for later in the summer before we run out. Available in store on online HERE.

We have Theresa's right-hand man, Stanley in the shop today as regular shop dog Indie is away on some well-deserved annual leave. Swing by and make his day by giving him a good pat. How could you possibly say no to those eyes.
