To all our readers & valued customers: we wish you all a safe and happy holiday season! A reminder that we are open every day as normal but closed on Christmas day only. 

It's a busy day in the shop seeing Neil, Rosie and I getting customers ready for the holidays or simply wrapping up last minute Christmas gifts! 

Jigging, harling, trolling and fly fishing are all doing well on the big lake seeing many disregard the rain as it is quite warm outside! 

This rain should send fresh brown trout from the lake into the rivers, so get into it as the river is still well and truly fishable, and not in flood at present.
