The past few days have been fantastic for anglers on the Tongariro and Tauranga-Taupo Rivers! A slight rise in water flow yesterday brought in a fresh wave of spawning fish from the lake, and anglers are reporting increased catches of brown trout. Just last night, Noah hit the Tongariro River and reeled in an impressive brown trout using a Category Three York Copper Pheasant Tail Size 12.
