Lam is back in town!! He's been in store for a catch up on what's been happening in the region and as he expressed a keen interest in fishing the stream mouths, we helped to ensure he had a successful time!
Lam used an intermediate line and a variety of streamer patterns, namely olive wooly buggers which the team have been using to get results by day and night. There's been some great fish holding at the rips seeing many more to come.

In the coming months many will be into the heave and leaves which we have in store at present, so now is an ideal time to get the fly box re-stocked! You do not want to get caught out if you are fishing the Tongariro delta via boat and open the fly box only to discover you have run out!! Possibly happened to me before 😅
