It's a windy and damp day in Turangi with a cold bite! The team have put the heaters on this morning to maintain the shopper's comfort while browsing through the store 🔥 Some folks are reporting good numbers but putting effort into finding them and switching out flies regularly. The hare & copper/pheasant tail/caddis and smaller globugs or soft eggs working well for those nymphing. Those wetlining/spey fishing are putting in the work also, finding fish when covering water and changing flies. Olive wooly bugger takes the cake, but the brown/black/white variants are picking up fish as well.
