Tongariro River Flow: 26.0m3/sec

Weather: Blue Bird and Breezy

With the holidays now over, Turangi is starting to return back to the tranquil settlement we all know and love. The fishing carparks are no longer overflowing with cars and anglers playing a real-life game of Tetris.  If you know, you know... 😅

Reports from the river are that while there are still a reasonable number of anglers out and about, they are moving through the river allowing fishing spots to free up regularly.

There has been a noticeable amount of caddis starting to build up around the river and as a result of this, anything caddis is taking a hammering!

We have had a few anglers come in this morning boasting about the quality of trout they have been catching in recent days... fresh trout, putting up a hell of a fight and once to the net measuring a sizeable weight!

Bryce has been out and about catching some Pearla's, the featured photo was one of the latest fish caught hiding in one of the smaller waterways.

With regards to the shop, have just received what feels like a never-ending mountain of boxes containing all your favourite goodies! McFly Foam, Head Cement, Otter Eggs, Simon's Uglies, Rustla Fleece Packs to name a few.

The team are working tirelessly to get these products out on the wall and online for you to browse.

Well, that's all from me.
