With the rivers still low and clear the fishing is by no means easy, with some anglers being more successful than others. Being first on the water in the morning seems to be a helpful strategy as well as being willing to cover different water to find where the pods are holding. The fish seem to be moving through the system rather quickly with the low flow, so each day is often quite different. The next rain will certainly do the fishing some good as I would bet there are a lot of fish out in the lake waiting to run, so keep an eye on the forecast!
