Tongariro River Flow: 27.5(m3/sec)
Weather: Fine apart from some evening cloud. Light winds.
Hi all.
Just a quick update on the big river after our river spike yesterday.
The river popped up to 62 cumecs, which should be plenty to get some more fish on the move. The river is still quite green and with a good flow- so take extra care when wading and take it slow.
The reports this morning have been decent, with reports of some very decent fresh fish being landed in the lower reaches.

As per usual when the river is a bit coloured. Throw something with a good silhouette or UV, to get the fish' attention. Eggs, slushies, stoneflies, woolly buggers will all be working.
Either way, the weather looks great until maybe a little more rain on Thursday, but not enough to blow the rivers out.
